Found A Lost Paw Pet?
How it works?
Reading NFC TagsIf you have an iPhone 7,8, or X you will require the Tag & Tap app from the app store. You can download it here. Simply download the app then complete Step Two. If you have an iPhone XR or above your phone already has NFC technology in it. Proceed to Step Two. If you have an Android phone, search within your settings for NFC. If your phone has the technology you will be able to enable NFC settings, then proceed to Step Two. For those Android users who did not find NFC within their settings, simply go to the Google Play Store and download the Tag & Tap app then proceed to Step Two.
Tap the Tag
Now, after completing all of Step One, you can simply tap or hold your phone to the pet’s ID tag. You will then be prompted within your phone’s default browser to open a window and follow the link the tag has on it.
When a pet is lost, many owners are frantic and wish to find out immediately if their furever baby is safe. Knowing this, Lost Paw prompts those who tap it to share their location. If you do share your location, it will be sent to the pet owner so they know the pet is found and where it was found.
We understand you may feel this is an invasion of your privacy so it can be opted out of if you’d like.
This is the time where you see the pet owner’s contact information and you make the initial contact. If you ever feel uncomfortable making direct contact you can always tell the owner to either meet you at a safe place such as the Police Department or take the pet in to a shelter or vet’s office and hand over the information you’ve found.
Reunited and it feels so good!

Lost Paw is more than just a pet ID tag company, we believe in reuniting furever friends with their loving families!
